This band already at the top of its game has gotten even better. And The Black Keys have done pretty damn well so far this year, with three 2011 Grammy awards for Brothers under their belt, an MTV Video Music Award for Tighten Up, more than 850,000 copies of Brothers sold in the U.S., and upwards of a million units worldwide, plus innumerable licensing placements in film, TV, and commercials. El Camino features one stand-out track after another, such as first single Lonely Boy, Gold on the Ceiling, and the surprising, acoustic-guitar-driven, tempo-shifting Little Black Submarines.

Gym Class Heroes - The Papercut Chronicles II (2011)

Going into this I had a high expectation about this album. Yes, Papercut Chronicles was a classic and timeless album. No, I did not expect to hear another PPC with this release. A part of me had hopes that the band would be definitely involved more. The epic Papercut Chronicles we all know and love started with these 4 basic elements: 1. Drums 2. Bass 3. Guitar 4. Vocals. I regret to to feel this is nothing other than a continuation of Travis' solo project. With overbearing audio effects and laxadasical singing, its tough to distinguish weather the band is playing behind Travis at all. This may be the demise of the GCH from Geneva as we know it, but one thing's for sure; there will never be another release more timeless than the debut FBR release Papercut Chronicles

Hot Chelle Rae began working on WHATEVER at the end 2010, traveling from Nashville to Los Angeles and New York for writing and recording sessions with various collaborators, including Emanuel Kiriakou (Jason Derulo, Selena Gomez), Evan Bogart (Adam Lambert, Rihanna), S*A*M & Sluggo (Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes) and rising star production trio Andrew Goldstein, Dan Book, and Alexei Misoul. The album was produced by Flood (U2, Depeche Mode) and Steve Lillywhite. Leto, together with brother Shannon, has firmly established 30 Seconds To Mars as a major Rock act around the world. Their last album, A Beautiful Lie, sold over one million copies in the U.S. and has achieved platinum status in Australia.

How many times do you hear a "great" song on the radio and buy the whole album only to be disappointed to find that "great" song surrounded by a bunch of mediocre at best productions? Don't answer that, it's a rhetorical question. The first time I heard Kings and Queens I was hoping that the rest of the album would follow the tradition of A Beautiful Lie and I am definitely not disappointed. In my opinion This is War takes A Beautiful Lie and improves on it in every aspect. Superb.

Rihanna – Talk That Talk (2011)

Talk That Talk once again sees the singer working with producer Verse Simmonds, half of the duo The Jugganauts. This is the best Rihanna's cd, very great.

Drake – Take Care [2011]

2011 sophomore album from the Canadian rapper. The album features collaborations and production from the likes of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Andr‚ 3000, Boi-1da, Noah 40 and others. Features 'Headlines' and 'Make Me Proud'.

This was a great album definately has potiental to be a classic. I recommend this to any true R&B fan. Really great features and I think anybody would find it easy to enjoy this album.

It's been a while since hip hop, the planet's most testosterone-charged genre, had a female mouthpiece to truly mix it with the boys. Her debut album certainly explodes with requisite vitality too, even if a significant proportion of 13 potty-mouthed tracks fail to completely combust.

The sceptics are made to look foolish on evidence of early loonfest Roman's Revenge, a schizophrenic alternate personality face-off with Eminem, she declaring loudly “I'm a c***”, Slim Shady turning in his most vicious rhymes for many moons. It's a potent combination, a bass music-led match made possibly closer to hell than heaven. And Minaj is hardly holding back on the subsequent Did It on 'Em, threatening to – metaphorically or otherwise – defecate on all comers.

Pink Friday isn't a classic by any means, then, but when Nicki Minaj is on fire nobody in hip hop – male or female – can extinguish her bright-burning talents.
